Observations to Entertain Myself

I was watching the new show "Bionic Woman" this evening and it occurred to me, why does a bionic woman have to do push ups?

Most new mini-vans have entertainment centers better than I have in my home.

Why don't kids come with On Star?

Do kids really drink Ovaltine?

They say that Carpool and Cavemen are the new hit comedy shows of the season. No wonder men are not role models in the home!

What type of gratification is there in "fantasy football"?

Why does one side of my toaster only toast one side of my bread?

Does it really make sense to put lemon in SWEET tea?

God is omnipresent which means He is everywhere - I am, not where I am, He happens to be.

Jesus said "Let your yes be yes and your no be no".  I do not recall him saying, "Let your not yet be not yet or your maybe be maybe."

If "Jesus wept" is your favorite Bible verse, you need to spend more time in the Word.

Read more fiction written by Christian authors. It costs more, but it is worth more.

Tell your spouse "I love you" every day.

God likes to hear that too.

You may not be looking for answers on your observations, but I have a few...

*Your grandsons do drink strawberry powder in their milk that is made by Ovaltine...strawberry milk with lots of vitamins! I'm not sure the original stuff has any appeal though.

*There is (apparently) gratification when you are only a half-hearted fantasy football player and one week you beat the guy that has 5 or more fantasy teams (baseball, basketball, hockey, etc.)...Ben was super happy last week.

I'd be ready to sign up for that On Star function on my kids...especially as they get older. :)

Of course...I love answers, comments, ridicules, and other stuff. I suppose vitamins are a good thing - Ovaltine or not. And if that makes your hubby happy, than it sure beats some of the alternatives!

Imagine...kids with On Star and getting a "diagnostic" print out on your computer!

Elam's book is on its way. Put in the "post" yesterday.
